Preparing for an interview takes a lot of time to list a common interview questions. You need to have a great knowledge of the VFX/animation company or its product, and, of course, know exactly how to convey that you’re the perfect fit for the job. 1. Research the Company before the Interview:

Researching the company before the interview and learning as much as possible about its services, products, customers. When you researching a company, Understand the organization’s hiring process. It’s not just crucial for submitting your resume and cover letter but also for knowing who’s going to interview you and what they’ll care about. When researching a company, think about what types of specific questions you could ask the interviewer, not just the other way around.

2. Review your CV :

Interviews put you under pressure and can make you forget important things. Look over your CV. If it becomes the focus of the conversation, you’ll be ready to talk about your experience, achievements and qualifications.

3. Find out the type of Interview you will be going on :

There are several common types of interviews such as one on one, group, and behavioral. You shouldn’t assume you will get a certain one. Don’t be afraid to ask your recruiter what kind of interview will have if you don’t know the interview will be more beneficial to both parties if you are prepared.

4. Dress for Success :

It is important to know what to wear to an interview and to be well-groomed. Whether you wear a suit or something less formal depends on the company culture and the position you are seeking.

5. Arrive on Time for the Interview :

Never arrive late to an interview. Allow extra time to arrive early in the vicinity, allowing for factors like getting lost. Enter the building 10 to 15 minutes before the interview.

6. Show Enthusiasm :

A firm handshake and plenty of eye contact demonstrate confidence. Speak distinctly in a confident voice, even though you may feel shaky.

7. Make Good First Impressions :

Effective forms of body language: smiling, eye contact, solid posture, active listening, nodding.
While the content of your interview responses is paramount, poor body language can be a distraction at best or a reason not to hire you at worst.

8. Listen First, Answer Second :

Listen carefully to what they say and wait until they have finished, and you’ll be able to give the best answer.
